Container terminal on sawmill site in Adelebsen

Containers are to be reloaded from trucks to rail wagons and put into intermediate storage in Adelebsen, in order, inter alia, to reduce the number of costly return transports of empty containers from the regions of southern Lower Saxony, eastern North Rhine-Westphalia and northern Hesse to ocean ports. Kreykenbohm wants to use the container terminal to offer timber-trading companies and others engaged in overseas export the possibility of loading roundwood in containers and of carrying out prescribed phytosanitary measures on the site.
