Impala Terminals continues to consolidate as a world class company with multimodal transport operations of different types of liquid cargo, dry and containerized in Colombia, and coal, bauxite and alumina in the United States; besides basic operations with minerals in Peru, Mexico, Chile and Bolivia. Also in the Iron Quadrangle of Brazil, it provides producers with one of the most advanced iron ore ports in the world: Porto Sudeste port facility logo on the southeast coast of the country. It owned and operated as a joint venture with Mubadala Development Company and in partnership with MMX Mineração e Metalicos. Porto Sudeste currently has capacity to receive, handle and load more than 50 million MT of iron ore annually, and has the ability to increase to a nominal capacity of 100 million MT with further investment.
